Spa Etiquette

General Preparations


Drink plenty of water before and after your treatments to maintain hydration and receive the full benefit of your experience at Eden Holistic Spa. 

The water will rehydrate & flush out any toxins released by massage, body treatments, steam room and essential oil treatments.


Appointments


We want you to have the best possible service at Eden Holistic Spa, therefore we kindly ask you to arrive 10 - 15 minutes prior 

to your treatment. 

This gives you time to fill in our consultation form, enjoy a welcoming refreshment drink and to relax yourself in our space, allowing you to derive the full benefit and time from your chosen treatment or package.


Cell Phones


We want to create and ensure a relaxing environment and experience for all of our guests. In consideration of others, we kindly ask and inform the following:


Please refrain from talking on your cell phone unless absolutely necessary and if so, please keep the volume down.

We have two balconies with seating benches, which we encourage our clients to use for phone calls.

We kindly ask that mobile phones be kept on silent mode or on very low volume when in the Nail Bar.

For body treatments, facials and massage, mobile phones can be stored in the personal locker provided or must be kept on silent/switched off if taken into the treatment room.

Spa Dress Code


Eden Holistic Spa does not uphold any dress code requirements for clients other than the following:

We kindly request that clients do not enter the Spa while barefoot, topless, in a non-covered bikini or in their undergarments.


Bathrobes, slippers/flip-flops and disposable underwear are all provided within your personal locker for your comfort and privacy throughout your spa experience.


Although undergarments may be worn if preferred, you will be offered disposable underwear and all private areas will be thoroughly draped with a towel at all times during all treatments to protect your privacy.


Personal Property


You may put all valuables in the lockers provided for the personal safety of your belongings.

You can place your locker key in the robe pocket and bring it to the treatment room with you 

Eden Holistic Spa will not be held responsible for any valuables brought into the spa.


Customer Requests


You may request a specific gender Spa Therapist while booking an appointment. Although we cannot fully guarantee that we 

will have your request available at all times, we will try our best to accommodate your preference. All Spa employees are trained to 

respect the privacy of our guests and to create a comfortable, relaxing environment for all.


Eden Island Residency


It is possible for residents of Eden Island to receive stimulating and relaxing treatments right in the comfort of their own home.

Simply drop by, call us on +248- 4346663 or email us at reception@edenholisticspa.com to book an appointment and our receptionist will run through all the details with you.

Please note there is a 100% Surcharge. 


Eden Bleu Hotel In-House treatments


As guests staying in the Eden Bleu Hotel are eligible to take avail of our in-room treatment service.

Please note there will be a surcharge for this service.

Simply ask your concierge or our receptionist about any details and inquiries you might have.

Assistance With Making an Appointment


Our Spa Receptionist will happily coordinate with you to create a spa experience specifically for your needs.

Please don’t hesitate to ask for details, treatment consultation and booking help. 


Shaving


Shaving is not recommended before a Body Treatment or Men's Facial. If you choose to shave, please shave at least four hours 

prior to your service and inform your therapist before your treatment.


Health Problems and Comfort Level



Please notify our Receptionist before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, any physical

ailments, or disabilities. This will prepare our talented therapists far in advance to provide the best possible spa treatment or therapy for you. 

You will also be given a consultation form to fill in on your first visit to us.

When receiving your treatment, the Therapist will address your needs based on your personal assessment.

They will speak to you about the temperature, pressure, music, product, and sequence of service they are providing.

We encourage clients to openly communicate to their therapist how they are feeling during their service if there is anything specific they would like addressed.
